hello there! as of writing, i am a 20 year old multimedia narrative and sequential artist based out of chicago, illinois, in my second to last year of studying at SAIC. i work under my pseudonym and username, stellar_retribution.
my mind is all wrapped up around the old internet, where posting your real name was still understood to be a horrible idea, and most stories were about deeply imperfect people who you still liked reading about anyway. i am deeply fixated on those imperfect people (i happen to be one) and most of my work is, in some way, about them.
i cover a wide selection of subjects with my work. although on paper i focus on comics, the general thought behind a lot of my work is to let art interact with other art in sequence. i work in fiction comics, autobiographical comics in the style of comic strips, as well as oil and watercolor painting.
